Agreement to Our Legal Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your”) and DreamHome Remodeling, Inc. (“DreamHome,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a corporation operating in Virginia and Maryland and serving Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC.

DreamHome Remodeling provides residential roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, insulation, and Roof Maxx restoration services across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Through dhremodeling.com you can:

• Request a free inspection or estimate from one of our two offices (Springfield, VA or Hanover, MD)
• Submit your contact information through our lead capture forms

The website is provided for general information purposes. Pricing, availability, and product specifications are subject to change. A binding estimate for any work requires an in-person consultation and signed scope of work.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on dhremodeling.com — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, videos, software, page designs, and the selection and arrangement of materials — is the property of DreamHome Remodeling, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

“DreamHome Remodeling,” our logo, and related marks are trademarks of DreamHome Remodeling, Inc. Third-party product names (Owens Corning, Roof Maxx, ProVia, Cedar Ridge, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners and appear on our site to identify products we install.

Your use of our Services

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the website for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any content from the website without our prior written permission. Automated scraping, harvesting, framing, or systematic reproduction of any portion of the site is expressly prohibited.

User Representations

By using the website, you represent and warrant that:

User Generated Contributions

The website does not generally allow users to post or submit public content. If we add functionality that permits user reviews, comments, photographs of completed work, or testimonials (“Contributions”), then by submitting a Contribution, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or control the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to grant the rights set out in these Terms
• Your Contribution is not false, inaccurate, or misleading
• Your Contribution is not unsolicited advertising or spam
• Your Contribution does not violate applicable law or any third party’s rights, including privacy and publicity rights
• Your Contribution does not contain material that is libelous, obscene, threatening, or harassing

Contribution License

By submitting a Contribution to the website (including any photograph of work performed at your home, video testimonial, written review, or other material), you grant DreamHome Remodeling and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from your Contribution in any media format and through any media channels now known or later developed, including marketing and promotional materials.

You also grant DreamHome the right to use your name, voice, likeness, and identifying information (such as the city in which your project was completed) in connection with such Contributions, unless you specifically notify us in writing that you wish to remain anonymous.

Third-Party Websites and Content

The website may contain links to third-party websites or content not owned or controlled by DreamHome Remodeling. Examples include manufacturer websites (Owens Corning, Roof Maxx, ProVia), social-media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Nextdoor), review platforms (Google, BBB), and embedded content (YouTube videos, Google Maps).

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. By using the website, you acknowledge and agree that DreamHome is not responsible for any third-party content or links and that you access third-party sites at your own risk.

Services Management

We retain the discretion (without obligation) to:

• Monitor the website for violations of these Terms
• Take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these Terms, including reporting such users to law-enforcement authorities
• Refuse, restrict access to, or limit the availability of any portion of the website to any person at our discretion
• Remove from the website or disable any content that is excessive in size or otherwise burdensome to our systems
• Otherwise manage the website in a manner designed to protect our rights and property and to facilitate the proper functioning of the site

Privacy Policy

SMS and Text Message Communications

DreamHome Remodeling, Inc. operates a mobile messaging service that is registered with U.S. carriers as a 10DLC application-to-person texting program. The terms in this section govern your participation in that service.

How it Works

New and existing subscribers may receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to the mobile number they provide to us when requesting a quote, submitting a contact form, or otherwise opting in. These messages may include scheduling confirmations, project updates, inspection reminders, follow-up questions about your request, occasional offers or seasonal information, and customer-service communications.

Participant Requirements

You must be 18 or older to subscribe, and you must own or be authorized to receive messages at the mobile number you provide. By providing your mobile number to us — through any contact form, by texting us first, or by giving it to one of our representatives — you consent to receive non-marketing service messages from DreamHome at that number.

Opt-Out and Help

You can opt out of our text-message service at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may receive a final confirmation message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@dhremodeling.com. We do not charge for the SMS service, but message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Information you share by text message is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third-party advertisers.

Call Recording and Monitoring

Calls between you and DreamHome Remodeling, including calls placed to or from our two offices in Springfield, VA and Hanover, MD, may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, employee training, customer-service review, and legal-compliance purposes.

Maryland is a two-party (all-party) consent state for call recording. Virginia and Washington DC are one-party consent jurisdictions. We comply with the strictest applicable rule by providing notice to you in advance and treating your continued participation in a call after notice as consent. If you do not consent to call recording, please inform our representative at the start of the call and we will accommodate your request, including by terminating the call and following up in writing instead.

Automated and AI-Assisted Communications

To respond quickly and efficiently to customer inquiries, DreamHome Remodeling may use automated and artificial-intelligence-assisted systems in certain customer-facing communications, including:

• Automated text-message replies confirming form submissions and providing initial information
• AI-assisted chat or voice agents that gather basic information about your project before routing you to a human representative
• Automated email confirmations and project status updates
• AI-assisted call routing and message transcription

You can always request to speak with a human at any point in any interaction. AI-assisted systems do not have the authority to enter into binding contracts, quote final pricing, or make warranty commitments on behalf of DreamHome. Any contract, estimate, or warranty becomes binding only when reviewed and signed by an authorized DreamHome employee.

Term and Termination

These Terms remain in full force and effect while you use the website. We may, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability, deny access to and use of the website to any person for any reason, including violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

If we terminate your access, you are prohibited from registering or creating any new account or otherwise accessing the website. In addition to terminating access, we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including pursuing civil, criminal, and injunctive remedies. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual-property, indemnification, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) shall survive.

Modifications and Interruptions

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the website at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We have no obligation to update any information on the site.

We cannot guarantee the website will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems, or we may need to perform maintenance related to the site, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors. You agree that we have no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the website during any downtime or discontinuance of the site.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the website shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

If you live in Maryland or Washington DC and a particular consumer-protection law of your state of residence applies notwithstanding the foregoing, those rights remain in effect.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Negotiation

To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, you and DreamHome agree to first attempt to negotiate informally for at least 30 days before initiating arbitration. Such informal negotiations commence upon written notice from one Party to the other.

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the website that the Parties cannot resolve through informal negotiation shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Fairfax County, Virginia. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver

You and DreamHome agree that any arbitration shall be conducted in your individual capacity only and not as a class action. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class-wide arbitration, or any consolidated proceeding.

Exceptions to Arbitration

This section does not preclude either party from pursuing a claim in small-claims court if that claim qualifies for such court, or from seeking injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights.

Corrections

From time to time the website may show typos, outdated entries, or other inaccuracies — in service descriptions, in pricing references, in scheduling availability, or elsewhere. We may correct these without prior notice, and we reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or re-quote any request that was made in reliance on incorrect information shown on the site.

Disclaimer

Pricing, project timelines, and photographs of completed work shown on the website are representative examples only and do not constitute a binding offer or warranty. The actual scope, cost, and timeline for any project depend on an in-person inspection and a signed written agreement.

We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the website’s content or the content of any sites linked to it. We assume no liability for any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content, personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from your access to the website, or any interruption of transmission to or from the website.

Limitations of Liability

In no event will DreamHome Remodeling, Inc., its directors, employees, contractors, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or other damages arising from your use of the website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, our aggregate liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us during the six-month period prior to any cause of action arising, or one hundred United States dollars (USD $100.00), whichever is greater.

Certain United States state laws and international laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the disclaimers or limitations above may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold DreamHome Remodeling, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of their respective officers, agents, partners, and employees harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your use of the website, (2) breach of these Terms by you, (3) any breach of your representations and warranties set forth in these Terms, (4) your violation of the rights of a third party, or (5) any overt harmful act toward any other user of the website.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.

User Data

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the website for the purpose of managing our services and the website’s performance, as well as data relating to your use of the website. Although we perform routine backups of data, you are solely responsible for all data that you transmit or that relates to any activity you have undertaken using the website.

You agree that we shall have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of any such data, and you hereby waive any right of action against us arising from any such loss or corruption of data.

Electronic Communications, Transactions, and Signatures

By using the website, calling us, texting us, or completing any of our online forms, you consent to do business with DreamHome electronically. That consent applies to electronic signatures on quotes and contracts, electronic delivery of warranties and notices, electronic records of transactions, and any policy we share with you through email, text, or this website. You waive any law in your jurisdiction that would otherwise require an original ink signature or paper record.

California Users and Residents

If you are a resident of California, please review our separate California & State Privacy Notice for important disclosures and rights specific to your jurisdiction under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

California residents whose complaint with DreamHome is not resolved to their satisfaction may file a written complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs at the Complaint Assistance Unit, Division of Consumer Services, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834. The unit is also reachable by telephone at (800) 952-5210.

Miscellaneous

These Terms and any policies or operating rules posted by us on the website constitute the entire agreement between you and DreamHome Remodeling, Inc.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. These Terms operate to the fullest extent permissible by law. We may assign any or all of our rights and obligations to others at any time. We are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, delay, or failure to act caused by any cause beyond our reasonable control.

If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part is deemed severable from these Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

There is no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship created between you and us as a result of these Terms or use of the website.

You agree that these Terms will not be construed against us by virtue of having drafted them. You hereby waive any defenses you may have based on the electronic form of these Terms and the lack of signing by the parties to execute these Terms.
