Our Commitment

DreamHome Remodeling is committed to making our website accessible to every homeowner we serve, including people with disabilities. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Accessibility is an ongoing process — as we add pages, refresh designs, or introduce new features, we audit them against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and remediate issues we identify.

Conformance Status

As of the date above, dhremodeling.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the website may not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to address any gaps.

Measures We Take to Support Accessibility

• Accessibility considerations are part of our page-build standard for every new piece of content
• We use semantic HTML structure (proper headings, landmarks, lists) so assistive technologies can navigate logically
• We provide descriptive alt text on photographs of our crews, completed projects, and product systems
• We test color contrast for body text and interactive elements against background colors
• We support keyboard navigation for menus, forms, and primary calls-to-action
• We associate form labels and error messages with their fields so screen readers announce them correctly
• We use resizable text without breaking layout up to 200% browser zoom
• We use a mobile-first responsive layout that adapts to a wide range of screen sizes and orientations

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are actively working to improve include:

• Embedded third-party widgets (Google Maps, YouTube videos, form-builder iframes) that we cannot directly modify but try to caption or describe in surrounding context
• Older project photo galleries that may not yet have full descriptive alt text for every image — newer content meets our internal standard
• PDF documents that may not have been generated with accessibility tags; we are converting key documents to accessible HTML or rebuilding them
• Some legacy interactive elements may not yet be fully keyboard-navigable

In-Person, Phone, and Text Service Accommodations

If you are unable to use our website or any specific page, we will provide the same information through alternative channels at no cost to you. Call either office and a team member will:

• Read content from our website to you over the phone
• Send written information by U.S. mail or email in an accessible format
• Schedule an in-person consultation at your home so we can walk through services, materials, and pricing without relying on the website
• Provide large-print quotes, contracts, or warranty documentation on request
• Use TTY relay services through your phone carrier when applicable

We aim to respond to accessibility-accommodation requests within three business days.

AI Voice Agent and Human Handoff

To answer common questions quickly, DreamHome may use AI-assisted voice or chat agents that gather basic information about your inquiry before routing you to a human representative. If you prefer to skip the AI step entirely, you can:

• Say “speak to a person” or “human” at any point in a voice interaction
• Type “human” or “agent” in a chat interaction

AI agents do not have authority to enter into contracts, quote final pricing, or make warranty commitments. Those decisions are made only by DreamHome employees.

Third-Party Content

Some content on dhremodeling.com is provided by third parties (Google Maps, YouTube videos, HubSpot lead capture forms, social-media widgets, manufacturer logos and product imagery). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we make best efforts to surround it with accessible context — captions, transcripts, plain-text alternatives, and explicit labels — so that the absence of any one element does not block you from understanding the page.

If a specific third-party element creates a barrier for you, contact us and we will provide the underlying information in an accessible format directly.

Feedback and Reporting Accessibility Issues
