I am writing to express my delight with the installation of our new Cedar Ridge Siding. We are very satisfied with the quality of the product, the skill and professionalism of the installers, and the guidance and assistance of the sales representation.

It has been several months since the installation and I am very happy that we decided to have Cedar Ridge siding installed by Dream Home Remodeling. I am thrilled with the energy savings and with the peace of mind knowing that I now have a no-maintenance siding product on the house that looks great, promotes energy efficiency, is practically bomb-proof, and won't need to be scrubbed or power washed.

The installation crew displayed excellent craftsmanship as they worked quickly and expertly to complete the installation in just a few days. It was fun watching them transform our house and whenever I had a question or concern they were very responsive. They were clean and neat as they picked up after themselves right away and removed the old siding and debris.

Upon receiving our first estimate I had no intention of signing a contract for new siding The house needed new siding, but I figured I would just get the estimate to have a ballpark figure and put off the siding until I could better afford it. The presentation changed my mind All of the work comparing different products and installation costs from different companies was already done. The rep had fact-based information. He explained the differences between all the different siding products on the market and had installation quotes, estimates, and brochures from other companies. I never felt pressured but it was evident to me that this was a great product being offered at a very fair price. After we decided to get the siding, the sales rep was very patient and helpful in selecting the options such as colors, vents, shutters, and so on.

During the Fall os 2007 we contracted DreamHome to have our siding replaced along with other related updates. We agreed the work would begin on January 7, 2008. DreamHome did not request any down payment or up-front deposit. The contract stated that payment-in-full was required upon completion and satisfaction of the work.

As promised, work began on January 7. The crew worked full days, even in the rain. At the end of each day they satisfactorily cleaned up. THe project was completed on Janurary 11, 2008. In short, they did an excellent job on our replacement siding in Woodbridge!

We are completely satisfied with he project and welcome any potential customer to contact us and/or stop by and visually look at their work. Based on our personal experience with Dream Home; without hesitation we would recommend them for siding replacement and related work.

We recently had replacement siding, shutters, and gutters, installed on our home by Dream Home and were extremely pleased with the company from start to finish. We were especially satisfied with their professionalism and workmanship.

During the initial sign-up process, your representative made numerous trips to our house, to first introduce the vinyl siding to me, and then to my husband. He worked around our especially hectic schedule in a professional and patient manner. Once we made the decision to go with DreamHome, we were given the initial install date. We were thrilled that DreamHome was very punctual and accurate in their estimation of the start date. Best of all, DreamHome worked closely with the people installing our front door, so the door people were finishing just as the siding installers were ready to begin work. It was like clock-work.

The craftsmen who installed our siding were meticulous craftsmen, who took pride in their work. They arrived on time, worked diligently, and took care to clean up the debris each day. I was especially impressed with the way they did the finishing work over the entire house. An example of this was the door trimming which took a couple of hours to complete, but looks absolutely perfect. I was also pleased with he patience that the people at the office, the crew chief, and the installers had when we became ambivalent about whether we had chosen the right color for the shutters. They took the siding and door, and chose the color that we really wanted. To us, this was just another example of their professional manner and attention to detail to make sure that we were satisfied with the outcome.

We were dreading the installation of replacement siding, and put off the decision to have it done for several years, but with DreamHome, they made the process very painless. They were professional in their manner, and their craftsmen were superb with their workmanship. We could not have asked for a better experience.

If the overall condition of your siding is in good shape, and the damaged area is somewhat hidden from plain sight, you may be able to get away with just repairing your siding. The issue here is whether the new replacement siding will match the current siding. Most likely your current siding has faded over the years, which will make it nearly impossible to find an exact color match.

If the damaged siding is in plain view, it may not be worth spending the money to replace that section. New vinyl siding will carry a lifetime warranty on all labor and materials, so if it were ever to be damaged, it would be covered under the warranty. If affordable, you may want to look into the cost to replace your houses siding. You will reduce your energy bills because of the added insulation, and you will never have to worry about damaged or faded siding again.

When shopping for vinyl siding, be sure to check into all of the ingredients.

Not all vinyl siding are manufactured using the same allow (ingredients).
There are substitute (i.e., lower cost) chemical ingredients that only have short-term effect (less than 7 years).
Fillers and foaming agents can be used to falsely "thicken" otherwise inferior formulations.
So called "lifetime" warrantys include "small print" costs and "deductions" - reducing their real value.
