New Replacement Gutters - How it all works
The installed gutter protection panels must maintain a continuous downward slope to operate. As a rule, the upstream edge must be 1 to 1 1/4 inches higher than the front edge. with the front edge nose forward, past the front edge of the gutter. Use of specially designed gutter installation brackets makes this effortless. The view without end caps illustrates how this system works. The ribbed panels spreads the water, and then through the principal of surface tension, the water flows over the edge back into the gutter. This bringd the water in, and keeps the leaves and debris out. This is designed to be a closed system.
